I'm a huge retro games fan, I have such amazing memories growing up playing a load of the games you mentioned.

I was a mostly Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) and PS1 player.

Streets of Rage and Golden Axe are absolute classics.

I'm also a huge fan of Sensible Soccer, NHL 97, Zelda II, Driver, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 8.

Controversial topic but was anyone in on the Pirate game scene of the PS1?

I wrote a UK based retrospect if anyone is bored and fancies a read.

Seriously?Β  That's amazing, i'm literally obsessed with that game, Sensi was my childhood and its rare that I find fellow fans.

Honestly, i'm not just here to shill my articles but if you're a sensi fan I wrote a love letter to that game below that might bring back some memories.

"One by one, the kids of the estate got drawn into the world of Sensible Soccer and over the next few years, around twelve to thirteen kids formed their own teams and participated regularly. Our squads would occasionally feature a few of the current footballing superstars of the time such as David Beckham, Benito Carbone and Juninho but more often than not the players were completely made-up. We’d have players named after kitchen utensils, childhood teddies and even biscuits. It made no sense to anyone except us and we found it hilarious."

That is such a beautiful paragraph which really drums home how fun the game is. Even with FIFA and PES nowadays, the game has aged like a fine wine.

Omg yes, I'm glad I found this thread!Β

I've got a N64, PS2 and about to get a Win 98 PC to play retro games on. 🀩
I'd say Banjo Kazooie, Mario 64, The Sims 1&2 (Don't like 3&4 much) and GTA vice are my favorites.
