I know most of the Lore in Fnaf (After many hours of MatPat's videos) The only thing I get confused about is how the games correspond to the lore, all the games are out of order, and I'm pretty sure that Fnaf 4 would be one of the first games if it was in order, but idk. Me and my friend are doing a project on the fnaf lore for school and we want to make sure it's accurate. Any idea how we should organize this? lol

Well,, i actually saw this video that works really well for the lore,, it makes all the games make sense and i think it tells you the order of the games (but im not too sure)
its pretty long,, maybe an hour and a half i think,, but if i can find it ill send you the link if you want!! i think itd be pretty useful for getting a basic timeline out of one video :]

No one knows what the lore is exactly and the lore has been changed around a few times now, so I wouldn't stress about it too much. This is what the timeline is though as far as I know:
1983-1987 - FNaF 4, Presumed to take place before the second game and based on the "1983" which shows on a TV.
1987 - FNaF 2, calculated from the paycheck and minimum wage at the time and confirmed prequel to the first game.
1983-1993 - Sister Location, has to be during or after Springlock
suits were used as mentioned in FNaF4 and it's theorized that Mike could be Michael Afton. Most likely takes place after FNaF 4 assuming the brother is Michael Afton.

Post-FFPS - FNAFSB, same as the above.
Then I know nothing about the VR/AR games but from what I gather they probably take place around the same time and around the time of FFPS.
