john, dave, and karkat. rose is a close runner up for fourth place, since her john and dave are like the comedy powerhouse trio of the early acts (sorry jade)! karkat takes her place though because he's so compelling, and is just a wonderful type-of-guy-turned-character.

Kanya, rose, and Karkat. I guess I like to read a lot because those are basically the most wordy characters
