Yes, but you have to be in HTML mode, not WYSIWYG mode, otherwise it interprets any HTML you write as literal text. Click the WYSIWYG button to switch editor modes
Or just click the “insert image” button on the row immediately above the text box. It’s the little square one that looks like a polaroid, next to the table.
