r/badlinguistics is one of my favourite subreddits. It's essentially a linguistics cirklejerk sub with the goal of mocking and debunking outrageous claims about languages and other nonsense like that. It's a pretty progressive place and full of knowledgeable people as well as really funny. Go check it out.
