Subject is pretty self-explanatory, what are some books you HATE

Ones that you despise or just can't stand reading for more than a few minutes
(Or if you can't think of any that you feel that strongly about, name some books that you don't really like and/or couldn't get into)

This is a book from my childhood, and I remember really liking it, so I recently thought [just for some nice nostalgia I should read it again] and have a good time.

Wrong. The first book from the Dork Diaries series, Tales from a NOT-SO-Fabulous Life, is just THE WORST.

the main character of the series, Nikki, is absolutely INSUFFERABLE!!!
Never have I ever read about a character being such a whiny *&%#$-!!!!! 
She's so ungrateful and moody and she constantly whines about EVERYTHING
I know she's supposed to be a middle schooler and they're not known for being the most mature, but it's not even relatable! It just makes you hate her!!!1
I could go on about this in depth, but it's a reply and not some kind of blog post lol
Yeah, I hate this book and I'm honestly nervous about reading the rest of the books in the series because I don't want to ruin my nice memories

I hated the book 'a touch of darkness'. I love greek mythology and I was excited to read a retelling of the myth of Hades and Persephone. It centered too much on the +18 parts and I just hated the way the world was built. No to mention sometimes Persephone was too dumb
