I'm still playing through Apollo Justice but I've slammed into the hyperfixation.
Franziska's probably my overall favorite at least in the trilogy because of how wild her character concept is, but Apollo might overtake that spot as I'm playing through AJ.

I have quite a few favorites, but if I had to pick a top three, it would be Kristoph Gavin, Enoch Drebber and Sebastian Debeste...
But there are quite a few characters on my honorable mentions, like Courtney Sithe, Kay Faraday, Gumshoe and so on...

ema and trucy have to be my two faves, they're just so chaotic i headcanon that ema reads aggressive twitter threads before bed
kristoph has got to be one of the best villains imo though, i feel like with his sociopathic tenancies n all he's legit scarier than vk over here with disney supervillain vibes

edgeworth is my fav tbh im kinda basic....
herlock sholmes is my fav from tgat tho!! i played it before there was any news of a western release so i had a fanmade translation patch and his name was just sherlock holmes for me lmaoo

I have not played the AJ trilogy yet :((( BUTTTT I have played the main three games and tgaa 1 and 2 so I have a few options
Phoenix was my favorite from the main trilogy despite me really trying to find another because theres NO WAY the main character would be my fav but here we are. he's surprisingly well written for a lawyer game, most characters are anyways, but he reminds me of myself so i love him.
I honestly don't know who my favorite was from tgaa because i went through a period of loving everyone and then finding them really annoying and corny not even a chapter later (HERLOCK). but ugh theres so many people to love in there and i lovr ryunosuke but i cant favorite both of the main characters so I'll say Iris

My favorite character has to be my boy, Kilometers Edgeworth. I mean, his sense of justice is stronger than his jawline, and that's saying something! And he has a dark backstory. I mean, dad getting murdered in a courthouse? Being adopted by a total hardass? Being saddled with the blame of your father's death for 15 years?! If that isn't tragic, I don't know what is. Second place is the judge, because he's just funny. I mean, he has absolutely no object permanence! And besides, his face is funny. i really like klavier! hes probably my overall favorite. (ik hes overatted but idc) i also really like sebastian, ron delite (or mask☆demasque), larry, ema, maya, TRUCY and miles! OMG I ALMOST FOR GOT HERLOCK (marry me /hj ). im really glad i found a community of ppl who like ace attorney! (I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR YEARS.)

honestly as basic as it might seem, i love Miles so much, his character development is amazingly written and even as he progressed they didnt make his sort of antisocial behavior a "negative" trait, its just kinda who he is as a person and we love it!! <3

my other fav is larry... hopefully i won't get burned for that lol, some aa fans can't stand him and i just don't get it Xd
as for tgaac.. i'm still playing it through (currently at tgaa1-5), but i can say that susato is my fav rn. her chatter with ryu is the best tbh, like i love how they kinda subverted the classic ace attorney trope of a cool lawyer and a excitable assistant by making them both cool and excitable in different situations, it's so good.. okay enough of me talking hehe
