oh i have a lot!!
(most are Sal x Travis ones though)
- Travis constantly gists Sal little hairties
- Travis wont admit it, but he loves when sal plays with his hair
- They have matching bracelets but Travis wears his on his ankle to hide it more easily from his father
- Sal and Larry share their clothes, especially their band shirts
-Ash has a whole backpack full with clothes n stuff at either Larrys or Sals place since they have sleepovers so often
- They occasioanly also sleep in the treehouse
- Travis geniuenly adores Sal's face without a mask and the first time he saw him without it he just stared at him, but like in a good way
- Sal loves to be touching Travis at any times. Like just their pinkys touching or their knees when sitting next to eachother. Just a small reassurance
- Travis has a little box hidden underneath his bed full with stuff from Sal. Photos, clothes, small things like rocks that Sal gave him

-Larry def dances w some Mary Jane but sal not so much, he's always been an overthinker and it only intensivies when he's high
-larry never puts clothes away and always goes through his "Well organized piles" sniffing to see what's clean
-on the other hand sal has meticulous self care routines and is always thinking about if he smells good or if his hair is frizzy (was embarrassed at first when ash pointed out the mountain of hair care products under his sink but now they go on ulta and target runs together)
-sal once had an old blind lady from Travis's fathers church approach him and tell him he was a prophecy child and he has been overthinking it ever since
-(this one is a bit elaborate) sal has brain damage from the gunshot and his "visions/dreams" in the game are induced from seizures, possibly has epilepsy as well. It leaves him with a lot of confusion and fatigue right after (freaked Larry tf out when it first happened)

Larry is 100% a stoner and trans masc (I say so cause I am one) for Sal tho they are nonbinary and goes by any pronouns

i could write tens of thousands of words of the nonsense headcannons i keep, and i have done this on my tumblr in the past lololol. might as well post some of them here.
-larry is FTM, i like this headcannon because i feel like it gives him and sal something to relate to each other with on a more direct level than larry just being a run of the mill outcast. as far as how his prison experience went as a result of this... i wouldn't ask him about that if i were you.
-bouncing off of that, i think sal is pretty transfem coded. i personally read him as nonbinary transfem (any pronouns), and i think larry has been trying to get him to start E for years, but due to his own perceptions of transness and due to it being the 90s, she doesn't think she's "really" trans. she doesn't have a strong grasp on what gender dysphoria/incongruence is until sometime at 19/20 he and larry have a discussion about it and it finally clicks that wanting girl hips is not a normal thing for most guys lol.
-i like to think that if 1999 never happened and/or if the cult didn't exist, that sal probably would've gone on to med school to become a coroner/medical examiner. i can just see him enjoying doing autopsies and figuring out how people died, giving the answers that families need, answers that he and his family never truly got until much, much later.
-i think sal and larry both have tons of issues and it leads to their relationship being pretty codependent, (i.e. ditching other people for each other, not trusting other people as much as they trust each other, going to each other for every little thing, etc). if 1999 never happened, they probably would've continued to spiral until they had a bit of a falling out, and then things would start getting better and they'd start setting healthier boundaries with each other.
-i think sal used to be mean as fuck before he moved to nockfell, largely because a) it was how he survived the bullying, b) he was incredibly and deeply miserable, and c) i mean, c'mon, that one line he says to travis in the bologna incident? "you kiss your daddy with that tongue?" knowing damn well what's going on with travis at home? where the hell did that sassy bitch come from? that's right, he came from new jersey and as nice as he is, you shouldn't forget that fact. he WILL bite you if he deems it truly necessary. so yeah, i think he used to be a really bitter and mean person, but decided to leave that behind for a fresh start in nockfell. however, there are times like that where his ability for genuine cruelty slips out. he tries to hide it because he's not proud of it, but it's still a part of himself that he refuses to accept.
-i interpret travis's letter as having been for sal just because that makes the most sense to me, he was talking to sal not long before he wrote it and even punched sal. the letter could've been some kind of a weird attempt at an apology/reconciliation that he never got the courage to send. additionally, i think sal is actually acutely aware of travis's feelings for him, but doesn't really know what to do about it, because at the time he hasn't gotten a strong idea of what he's doing with his sexuality yet, and struggles very badly with the idea that anyone could even like him romantically in the first place, so he doesn't pursue travis during high school.
-travis's favorite book is carrie. i think he picks up the book, not really knowing what it's about, and it kind of destroys him. he relates way too much to carrie white as a character, as i think he probably would've been raised in a very similar environment re: sex/sexuality and extreme christianity, (even if the christianity is a mask for the DOG cult), and this book ends up being an introduction into the horror genre for him. i think he would go on to really enjoy horror because it speaks to him in ways that others don't, but it's definitely an interest he has to hide from his family. related to this, him finding a joy for the horror genre is what draws him to sal as a person as well.
-if we're going for a salvis angle, i like the idea that travis would really enjoy the tactile experience of touching sal's facial scarring a lot. he wants to do it all the time, but sal and his stupid insecurities /eyeroll
-i think ash has a better relationship with her dad than her mom, and that's part of where she gets her interests in classic rock and motorbikes from, whereas ben is closer to their mom. i see her dad as maybe being an ex-biker of some kind, and less strict than their mom, so she was naturally drawn to him a lot more, and while their relationship isn't the best, they do bond quite a bit over cool bikes and classic rock. (according to the art book, ash's favorite genre is classic rock)
-i think todd's mom is an unmanaged/unmedicated bipolar, that todd and ray are both fully aware of this, and that it's caused some serious trauma for todd growing up that he hasn't really dealt with. i like to think that sometime in his late 20s or early 30s, it's gonna hit for todd and completely fuck him up at some point.
-chug was raised orthodox jewish (his last name is cohen, lol) but as an adult, he remains pretty secular. he still celebrates the holidays, but probably doesn't keep kosher because any rule barring him from eating something delicious should immediately be disregarded, in his opinion.
-as a slight contrast to this, i like to imagine todd's parents as big kabbalists, lol. (that's very spiritual woo-woo kinds of judaism, for clarification). they never vaccinated him for anything and they also raised him vegan, but he has since disregarded both of those ideologies because he doesn't really care for them, (he got himself vaccinated behind the backs of his parents in his teens), but he still does have a preference for vegan food over non-vegan food just because it's what he was raised on.
i hope that's not too many headcannons, i have so many more because i'm deranged lololol.

ash would listen to goth music.. and..listen to crystal castles..
ash and travis would be besties (since sal is interest in ash)
larry would be a professional and very successful painter (if we had a good ending )

I hc that Sal is unable to get a license due to his prosthetic blocking a majority of his peripheral vision, along with his single eye, which causes depth perception issues. Because of this, he's always on map duty when the squad goes out of town. He's gotten so good at understanding those frustratingly huge paper maps that regardless of who's in the car, the driver will always make sure Sal is riding shotgun.
I also believe that Gizmo is a service animal (I think that's canon anyways). He presents very relaxed when it's just Sal in the apartment, but tends to freak visitors out since Gizmo tends to space out, and just stare... whenever he is met with somebody he wasn't trained to assist, and since Sal is such a special case, that ends up being everybody. He's a weird cat. Also, he's sentient.
Larry absolutely occupies a booth at makeshift punk festivals. Lisa helps him with transportation and setting up, and Larry is eternally grateful that the masses don't have to see his abhorrent decorating skills. He sells smaller art pieces, from paintings on canvas to self-made patches. He often ends up having time to listen to a few bands in the lineup when it gets slow and Lisa can watch the booth for him.
I definitely have more headcanons, but these are just a couple off the top of my head! ^_^
