Okay so recently I was on Tiktok and saw everyone was talking about a shadow man they used to see when they were younger that wore a hat. I too had this experience and would see him every night in my closet as a child but once I moved I stopped seeing him. I never felt scared and most of the time would just call my parents over to tell them that he was there. Most people say that he's a friendly spirit that helps children with gifts or helps them through trauma. Have any of you guys seen him and what was your experience? I'm curious!

I actually had recurring dreams as a child between the ages of roughly 6-10 where I would 'wake up' and see a very tall silhouette man in the doorway wearing what looked like a big trenchcoat with a hat just like a lot of people are describing, and he simply just stared at me as though he was peeking from around the corner. It made me freeze up in terror and I couldn't look away as if it had been sleep paralysis but I'm fairly sure they were dreams each time. This only happened in that one house and when we moved at age 11 the dreams completely stopped - I had completely forgotten about him until recent years where I've seen a lot of people post their experiences online and he actually featured as a spirit in a horror movie! But I've forgotten which one now...
