How does one date during a global pandemic?

The last date I've been on was in late 2019...then 2020 happened. Now  I have trust issues with people. LOL.

Yes, I know apps are a thing, but I refuse to participate due to how toxic and useless they are. These things are designed to make people frustrated and pay for their deluxe service. Also tons of fakes and scammers there. I can't even get into a genuine conversation with someone on these things even if I somehow manage to match with someone. But these days outside of apps, I don't know how else to meet women. The worse part is, I live in a major metropolitan city.
