Welcome to the Killjoy Collective! This is a group for discussion of the American Alternative-Rock band My Chemical Romance, a popular amongst Emo & Alternative communities alike. This group is meant as a gathering place for fans or those who may be interested in discovering their music--whether it's for the first time, or for the fifth time.
We have some pretty simple rules here, and as long as you follow them, there shouldn't be any issues! Additionally, this group will operate on a three-strike system for rules that do not specify banning.
RULES:
1. Adhere to SpaceHey rules. They can be viewed here. Violation of any of these rules will absolutely not be excused.
2. Remain respectful to other group members. Harassment of any creed will not be tolerated here--it's important to remain kind to your fellow fans, and any discrimination or scrutiny will not be tolerated.
3. Keep discussions relevant to the group. It's completely okay to go slightly off-topic or talk about topics that are adjacent to MyChem, but please keep super-personal posts (including promotion posts) limited to your own SpaceHey blog. If you have any issues regarding to other member's posts or have your own concerns, please reach out to a moderator.
4. Please take care of yourself. This is a community for like-minded people & those who share similar interests, but if you're in crisis, please look at these resources, you're never alone. Don't hesitate to reach out to moderator Fumi if you need any short-term guidance. Any attention-seeking or "sensitive" posts will be deleted, and users will be reached out to; additionally, please avoid topics that may trigger you.
5. SHIPPING OF THE BAND IS EXPLICITLY PROHIBITED. Any serious shipping (incl. Waycest, Frerard, etc.) is not acceptable here. This does not include Killjoy shipping, as this pertains to the characters that are depicted within the Danger Days universe.
6. Don't share ANY personal information. Whether it's yours, a friend's, a sworn enemy's, or your uncle's daughter's bird's, don't share any kind of personal information--ESPECIALLY if it could lead to any sort of danger (such as doxxing).
7. Don't spam the group. Any spam content (copypastas, repetitive links, or anything reasonably deemed by the mods as such) will be deleted, and members will be warned by a moderator. This will operate on a three-strike system.
8. If topics are sensitive or possibly triggering to others, please include a trigger warning in the title. Topics that require TWs include things like drugs, negative mental health discussion, self-harm, suicidal themes, etc. Basically, anything that requires prefatory-level common sense--if you're unsure of the topic, reach out to a mod!
Rules are certainly not complete, and may be added as the group grows, but this is what we have for now! Thank you for reading.
