Hello! :3

I have been on such a nostalgia kick lately and I am missing the early 2000s like crazy. I never had myspace when I was little so thankfully I have spacehey. I honestly just want to throw my phone away and delete social media and go back to the simpler times

I miss 2000s Disney, toys, being a kid with no worries, and the overall aesthetic & fashions from 2000s

Relatable. Everything from the 80s to the mid-late 2000s felt amazing. Like things had a personality and a meaning, idk how to put it into words.

Then the financial crisis happen in 2007, and then the iPhone came out, and from there everything went downhill for me. Nowadays everything looks and feels flat and boring. Also for personal stuff but, that's another story. Now I see myself going back to the old days, I even have an XP VM just to browse spacehey and do mid-2000s stuff with it.

as someone born in 2000, i seriously miss how colourful and cunty everything used to be. growing up in the early 2000s I  was so excited to be like the girls i saw everywhere (yk the typical pre 2010 fashion, make-up etc), only to realize trends move with the time and i'll never get to truly experience being a young woman in that era.

I was only 3 years old at the very end of the 2000s and I also miss it as well, both from a cultural perspective as well as from my own toddler memories of 2009.

There are also many things from the decade that I missed out on growing up as well that I'm only now getting around to doing as a young adult (who absolutely LOATHES this stupid current decade's culture) who lives as if it were indeed still the 2000s (2000 - 2009) such as burning blank CDs and DVDs at home, watching shows from the 90s and 2000s, owning a flip phone instead of a stupid smartphone, and going down to a local video rental stores to rent DVD shows and movies for the week, among many other things.

I am finally living the life I was meant to live and it feels oddly therapuetic to me. As I always say, I was born in 2006 and am living like it's 2006. :)

I was born in early 2005, but I grew up wanting to be a teen/young adult like in that era, like the  millennial and Xennial people I saw in the media back then. Y2K, Gen X Soft Club, McBling, Frutiger Aero and many other aesthetics from the late 90s and 2000s defined my childhood.

I started figuring out my own thoughts and opinions on the world at age 11, still wanting to be like a 2000s teen/young woman when I grew older, but it was 2016 and I got heavily disappointed with the pop culture of the time. Only since when I turned 18 I began to do activities like in the 2000s with my own money: wear fashion from the 2000s (and 90s), buy CDs at record stores in my city, burn blank CDs and DVDs at home, watch retro shows in my grandma's TV from 1998, use an MP3 player to listen to music on the street, decorate my laptop UI like Windows XP, etc.

I have a Nokia 6620 from 2005 in good condition, but I need to fix the screen sometime (it broke inside). I plan to have a feature phone as my main phone someday, but living in Latin America keeps me from doing so (people are so paranoid here, especially my parents who need to know my location every single moment). I'm craving the day I could leave my smartphone at home without worrying about it, or even the return of telephone cabins would be nice. They disappeared forever from my city and it's annoying

Honestly  I was born after the 2000s but damn this world is so better than 2025 I mean I find litteraly all better like minimalism is actually so boring I prefer so much maximalism, I wish I was born in the 90s for being a teenager in the 2000s

though I'm not 2000's teenager but it was so much fun then, didn't have computer or Internet at home though. I miss when the neighborhood was an endless playground
