Anyone else also struggles with actually finishing games?

I have so many games that I haven't beaten yet. My main reason is because I enjoy the substance of the game (side quests, combat tactics, etc) that once I beat the game I have little reason to load it back up again. If the game doesn't have replay value, then beating it just means I lost my purpose to play it. Especially with the Assassin Creed games. There is so much to do and explore that, if I beat the game, even though I feel an accomplishment for doing it, I have no reason or desire to start the whole game over again.

There are so few games I actually finished, I remember them with fondness. I've long learned to appreciate things while they last. That's just life.

I just beat Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance a couple weeks ago, and it was really good. I usually don't finish games though. I want to finish more games, but I will often forget about them or get distracted by other games. I'm still on the last palace of Persona 5, and I love that game, but I just haven't finished it yet. So yeah, I get what you're saying.

I think the only game I've ever beaten out of all the games I've played is ocarina of time, mostly cause every single game I've played was borrowed or something happened to where I cant play the game anymore. still mad that I never got to beat majora's mask cause my 3ds broke

i do my best to finish every game i enjoy, and even ones i don't
if i can help it, i will beat said game.

I used to never finish games and then i was diagnosed n medicated for adhd :v) now i dont feel like i have to finish them but i finish them anyway
