Radicalization during the pandemic

Good day Comrades!

I used to be a libertarian before the pandemic. Then I believed in Social Democracy because I thought that our country (Philippines) would only improve if we voted better candidates. Just last year in 2021, I became even more radicalized as I read up more leftist literature from the classics of Marx to our own communist literature by Joma Sison. Did anyone have a similar experience in being more radicalized because of how the pandemic directly exposed the ills of capitalism and the neoliberal hell we live in?

I hold on to the revolutionary optimism that more and more people will be radicalized in these extraordinary times. I honestly think that the only way to get out of this global pandemic is through revolution due to these capitalist empires hoarding all the vaccines and medicine for profit.

Would love to hear your radicalization story and/or experience with it during this pandemic.

In America, the Pandemic radicalized a lot of people, but more-so during the civil rights protests that took during it. Around the Pandemic, I began collecting physical books on Communist theory in the American 60s civil rights movement, in order to get a correct Point of View on how it would work in this particular country.
