Doom, fallout and elder scrolls. Back 4 blood has been growing on me a lot. Would say call of duty cold war but it stresses me out now. Zombies was fun and the grind for dark aether burnt me out lmao

buddy simulator 1984, which i can only describe as undertale if it was significantly more scary. play an adventure rpg game designed by an AI that just wants to keep you happy and playing along. don't upset your buddy by looking too closely into it : ( i cried a lot !
always sometimes monsters rpg game! when you find out your ex is getting married, you travel across the country to win them back and make a million decisions along the way ranging from ethical dilemmas to "should i smoke a cig today". gave me an existential crises. 10/10

Pokémon, Smash Bros, Terraria, Isaac, Majora's Mask, Death Road to Canada, Spelunky, pretty much any roguelike or shoot-em-up bullet hell/platformer. I'm a sucker for games with interesting stories or depth too.... and its cliche but anything Toby Fox makes just hits different.

Thousand arms for the PS1 is and will probably be one of my top favorites of all time. After that its a hard toss up between tales of the abyss, breath of fire 4, and pokemon yellow

Nier Automata is my favorite for too many reasons. The game is a full experience from the story, the aesthetic, the soundtrack, the symbolism, ect ect. I can't even listen to the soundtrack without getting emotional.
Animal Crossing is my second favorite for nostalgic reasons. I was gifted Wild World for Christmas as a kid and have been playing ac ever since.

- Machinarium: I know people will look at this little point and click adventure game as some kind of joke, however Amanita Design really put a lot of work into this beautiful world. The art is amazing and the soundtrack by Tomas Dvorak has so much personality. There are times where the music is haunting and beautiful. The soundtrack and the art design really blend well making a fun little experience.
- Resident Evil: Look, it is a classic but the only way to enjoy this game was via Wii and now Oculus. Honestly I don't know why all of their newer games don't have motion controls. It makes the game tighter in every way.
- Silent Hill 2: A story of a deranged piece of shit named James who's inability to realize that he is a real dick give us this beautiful story with no actual redemption. Also... Dog
- WWF No Mercy: Don't even bother telling Smackdown vs Raw is better. You are lying.
- Tetris Effect: Soundtrack is amazing. Visuals are amazing. 10/10 would get amnesia just to forget and play again. Plus VR! Speaking of VR
- VRCHAT: I have nothing to add that it is just fun to play as a Woman named Patricia from Jersey who's head is a hand with googly eyes and has a smokers voice.. don't judge me
- Cuphead. This game made me hate myself. It's artwork is amazing, the soundtrack and character design is superb. The music is so fun and it feels that you are in a old cartoon. However the skill level makes you want to quit playing video games. The bosses felt unfair and I hated playing it. You start to zone in and get to a place where your hands and eyes move for you. Your breathing calms, you are in the zone, it is zen. Shameless self promotion.
I am sure I am missing games or what not but eh. Also excuse my crappy writing.

ah the professor layton series !! i have played unwound future over and over and it never gets old (even though i know all the answers to the puzzles now, haha). it has a lot of connection to childhood for me and all the characters are so unique. the stories are also amazing but you have to do a fair bit of suspension of disbelief :p

These are my favorite video games. Zelda Majora's Mask is super fun. Zelda Ocarina of Time brought me closer to nature. Final Fantasy 13 had an amazing story plot. Animal crossing is just the cuter version of the sims, and I love it.

* GOD animal crossing is such a nice game !!! my first in the series was New Leaf then Happy Home Designer . im super glad that New Horizons got a HHD dlc and i cannot wait till im able 2 get it !!! HHD was super fun LOL . my two top favorite games would easily be Hollow Knight and Inscryption !!! HK is beautifully well done in pretty much every aspect of it , and i could go on 4 hours abt it , but I don't want 2 make this reply too long LOL . Inscryption is up there because i fuckin love card games , horror games , and meta shit ! plus the finale was unbelievably well-written , almost made me cry LOOOL

Fire Emblem: Thracia 776
I like the FE series in general but thracia is my favorite first of all because the added mechanics are fun to play around with and furthermore because I like the narrative the game spins, you really do feel like you are leading a struggling rebellion. I would never recommend it as a first FE game for somebody new to the series, but it is my favorite
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
my favorite zelda game. the plot isn't particularly complicated, nor does it bring anything particularly unique to the table, but it's enjoyable because it presents a reasonable challenge, superb dungeon design, and an overworld that is quite fun to explore as well
Touhou: Perfect Cherry Blossom
I like the touhou series in general. they are so simple and fair yet so challenging and easy to screw up. I like not only the games but also the universe. I like the world of gensokyo, the characters, the concepts, the derivation from japanese mythology. PCB is my decisive favorite not for any deep or detailed reason but simply because it's the most I've played and I have the most memories of it
Outlast
easily the most terrifying and stressful game I've ever played. obviously the black sheep on this list, but I do have a soft spot for atmospheric horror games like amnesia or outlast. I like it because, like thracia, it makes you feel like you are truly in the protagonist's shoes, and like both link to the past and touhou, it presents a reasonable challenge. of course, it is the easiest game of these four, but the first time you play it you'll likely die alot

Right now my fav is diablo 2 resurrected. I loved d2 back in the day and the remake is fantastic.
Also enjoying Halo Infinite. It's a blast playing halo multiplayer on PC with kbm.

TF2 is easily my most played game as i have over 2,000 hours Playing it lol, I'm a medic main. Valve is easily my favorite vidya company. In terms of story telling and world building, valve games are the best in my humble opinion. The Half Life and Portal Games are unparalleled in my eyes. I also play Minecraft pretty often, I've observed Minecraft since the beginning and it is very impressive with how far the game has gotten and will continue to grow. I also put many hours of my life into Battlefield 4 as well.
