it gets really hard for me to decide after the top 5 or so, there are a lot of games i really like. Devil Survivor, Akiba's Trip, Epic Mickey, Death end re;Quest, and Under Night In-Birth also get honorable mentions, i really like all of those as well.

The Stanley Parable for sure is my fav. its defiantly not everyone's cup a tea but i still find it a good bit charming. would def recommend to someone trying to get into video games :P   

My favorite games are: 

Alice: Madness Returns for the Playstation 3 

     I find the use of both classic 3D ps3 visuals, and papercraft-like showings of both Alice's madness and visuals of the actual word; this game is a beautifully dreary encapsolation of all that faux mixed media in a digital realm can be. Over anything, however, I find the music to be top tier when in comparison to the other 2010s horror games I've played- the keys and violin bleed together in a perfect match with what is to be seen. Alice's mindscape seems to tear at its seams- whilst the external imput on how her psychosis shows to be rips more holes in her true reality. Being able to hear the echos of the true reality beyond Alice's clouded mind is breathtaking, and puts empathy to the forms of madness those cease to see as human.

KORG DS-10 for the Nintendo DS

     Has to be the best music-making game that I've played. Even if the looping of your track is limited, every component seems as it would be in a simple synthesizer setup. I would reccomend this game to anyone looking to starting in playing synth who isnt keen on spending a fortune on plugins and whatnot. the DS-10 gives you all of the pieces that you can tinker with without cheesy standins as found in Mario Paint's music maker, for example- just lovely diles, knobs, switches, and whatnot.

Orcs and Elves for the Nintendo DS 

In almost every objective judgement stance, this game is not very good. However, I find the D&D-generics bare bones plot involving your wand and the dwarven king endlessly charming as a sucker for classic 90s-esque fantasy. The genre of turn-based rpgs in a digital format is a bit hard to come by in the modern day, but the ability to take a moment to decide your next move whilst your enemy just stands there patiently is both great for deciding your next move, and is extremely funny. As someone who loves making oldschool text adventure games, I absolutely love any game that unintentionally dates itself with poor graphics, gameplay, or extreme limitations.

Honestly, Silent Hill- Very overlooked horror game people who claim to "Love Horror Games" really enjoy Resident Evil just don't know what Silent Hill is and it upsets me. Silent Hill is an absolute masterpiece!!!!

That's really a hard question. I love super castlevania IV, it has replay value for me.

Hm. Celeste also has a high replay value too! Super Mario World it's super nostalgic for me. Hmmm, but with the bioshock trilogy in mind, it's hard to answer! Last year i played A Hat In Time! Nonstop. The Ib game made with rpg maker was such good experience the first time i played it. Alice Madness: Returns & the prequel was so good i was obsessed with the game back in the day. Call Of Duty Black Ops II also, but if i can be real, i just played the zombie campaign & multiplayer, such good old days,  the green run town, the intro song it's so memorable.

Yet, if i gotta pick one. Dark Souls 1, prepare to die edition or any edition really or the game on its own, would be the one. Yes, gotta be Dark Souls 1. Tho my opinion on my favorite game changes usually.

Skullgirl 

You might think it's because of the character design and that I'm just another degenerate, but that game is really entertaining, unfortunately it has very questionable players. . . 

Kid Icarus Uprising, Pokemon White, Fire Emblem Three Houses and Xenoblade are some that I've enjoyed throughout the years

Cruelty Squad will forever be one of my favs, I love the rancid energy & unconventional controls are fun to use. I've also been getting really into the Fallout series lately both for the world & gameplay, I'm obsessed with the VATS system

Right now it is System Shock but my all time favorite is Half-Life 1 and 2.

Played a shit ton of TES:Oblivion and Morrowind, great games to get lost in.

All of the GTA games.

Left 4 Dead 1 and 2.

Elite Dangerous is a fantastic game, its a slow grind but fuck its good.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas is some good fun to.

I really like resident evil right now. It's what I'm hyperfixated on. 

But I like pokemon a lot. We have this whole time. And Animal Crossing even though I haven't played in a while.

I’ve been really into cod lately but slimerancher will always be an all time fav!!!

LOVE anything tloz- ocarina of time, wind waker, twilight princess, tears of the kingdom.. they can be a little harder to find but worth it to have these in your collection! they're all timeless and a ton of fun to playthrough!

jet set radio future and bomb rush cyberfunk (which is a spiritual successor) are both such great games! great soundtracks and just cool aesthetically! 

with some other random stuff.... i love soulslikes, metroid, castlevania, super mario sunshine, firewatch, splitgate, tf2, chrono trigger, lethal company, etc.

fave game series of all time is fallout, and bioshock is a super close second :^)
