Work Horror Stories

I may be late, but this story popped into my head.

It was my last day working at a fast food restaurant and it was super busy. This lady stumbled in and her leg was bleeding. She walked up to me and said something along the lines of, "I want to sue this restaurant. Can I talk to your manager?"

I heard later on that she claimed to have tripped on the rocks outside and 'injured' herself on the restaurant property. This lady was also seen pacing on the rocks outside of Chik-fil-a (right across form where I worked) and had been pacing outside of our restaurant for a while. She also had her lawyer's card in her pocket, like she expected this to happen or something.

I don't think it actually went through. She was pretty angry at first, but when she spoke to our general manager, she seemed a lot happier afterwards and they even hugged(?). It was weird and I wish I had all the details, but that was a pretty stressful day.
