Shakespeare Slang

I would guess through cultural saturation. kind of in the same way that slang weaves it's way into our vocabulary. enough people know about it, then those same people use it. other people hear it, thinks it sounds cool, and starts to use it themselves. kinda like a game of telephone, without the distortion.
