Awww do you guys remember 2004-2005 when the ds got released? it was like nintendos future with good quality games (on that era ofc) and well you would use it on university or in my case everytime I arrived home from school or going to my grandmas house I used to grab my stuff with the ds and play almost all day, and I had millions of games, I would play pictochat too even though I was the only one playing- sadly times has changed and games are now very good, very nice quality and new plots but they're sooo expensive (at least for nintendo tho) :( I mean everyone literally used r4 for the ds games BUT I'm not talking only about that, there's also the brand new covers on the switch and it's slowwly becoming way more simple (like idk if you guys have seen or played gi but when u get a character + the official character art in twt was different now it's just the same thing ) and well idk if it's only me but I miss playing with my friends with the nds in some party or something similar, they where the best (´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ `)♡

I actually never played new leaf (I was more of a Wild World user) and also I actually had a dsi xl (ig it was the pink one the unique on the store 4 christmas that time) but I do can agree that animal crossing it's kinda losing it's track but it stills a pretty nice game tho

I miss my OG DS. I liked pictochat, but texting was already a thing so it didn't get much use.
I still have my DS Lite and use it occasionally(What am I saying? I still play my Gameboy Pocket. Tecmo Bowl and Super Mario Land are just better in monochrome.).

i remember the first gaming handheld i owned was a gameboy color with pokemon yellow. I also remember having a lot of fun with the nintendo ds playing mario kart with my friends.

My nostalgia for the DS is weird since I used it for a much shorter time frame. I started with a GBA when the DS was already released and by the time I got a DS the 3DS was a few years from being released. So I ended up playing more on the GBA and 3DS and not so much on the DS.

The DS and its accessories were the Peak of consols. Handhelds dont have good shit like that anymore

oh man i remember my ds lite! i had a blue one lol. my brother and i would use pictochat so much and play pokemon together on long holidays running around the sinnoh underground (mixed feelings for the sinnoh remakes but probably stull gonna get one if them)

NDS was really special, easily my favorite handheld! So many creative games and software, pictochat was so chill, flipnote studio... I was already in high school when the original phat DS launched, but man if that thing didn't get me through my 20s lol.

I rlly luv teh DS consolez!! :3 I had an original DS but it doesn't work NEmore ;0; I also have a DSi XL and a New 3DS XL, both of which still work :3 I wasted hourz drawing random stuff on Pictochat and Flipnote Studio, and playing teh Legend of Starfy (easily 1 of mah fav DS gamez) :V
