What's your favorite genre and/or medium of horror?

70's and 80's cult movies

hmmm i absolutely love psychological, goregrind, and body horror movies. most of my top 5 is of those genres, lol

ooooo great question :D personally i think that when it's done well (and it's easy to mess it up) found footage can be amazing..... OR phycological horror, i love a good mind F XD

slasher/splatter 

slashers, folk horror, zombie and found footage. not a genre but I love it when the settings a car ride or camping trip or if its in summer.

I definitely love those super gorey movies, with people cut in half or getting smashed by a chair or smth! I think my favourited version of that would be if it was kind of a teen slasher, but that’s just because I like seeing more than one death in a horror movie!

body horror has been growing on me a lot lately, especially cronenburg, though i do struggle to watch things like slither and tusk, lol. i think overall just a good 80s b movie will always be my favorite! something that doesn't take itself too seriously.

I would say like slasher comedies. Or any horror with a comedic, camp, or ironic element I really enjoy.
