Forum: Nerds Group

For a person who completely has no idea how to code and all programming. Which program is best to start?

I've been meaning to make a point n click game ever since the peak of Y8 games, I used to play stupid SIM dating games whether it was targeted to a guy or a girl. It just fascinated me, I know how to do background art, character design and making a story or a plot.

And the only things, I have no idea how to make it a game, I'm planning to learn this year.

You can start in Python to learn the basics and then if you want to make a game i prefer unity.

And if you want to make textures and assets you can make them in krita if you dont have photoshop. There are also lots of tutorials for all of this programs on youtube.

Thank you so much for the reply! I use Krita for my animations and digital art. I was also thinking of python for my learning. But I met this dude, who said if I wanted to have an easy way, I could use the Escoria script in Godot or just buy an already made one. I'll be sure to check python out (◍•ᴗ•◍)ᕗ

Wait, you know how to make digital art and animations? Thats pretty nice beacuse I always wanted to do that and I made some flipbooks and art, then I tried digital art and animations. But I wasnt pretty good at that, so I sticked with paper. So can you help to maybe get into digital art and animation?

Yeah sure dude! I'd be down, I'll even show you some of my art and animation. And I've always wanted to learn how to code, I'm guessing that this is a win win for the both of us?
