hello fellow otome lovers! this is my first post here! my favorite genre of anime (and visual novels) are otome! so, whats your favorite otome (anime or visual novel)? and why! if you feel like explaining <3.
my favorite are listed as below:
1. fruits basket (manga, anime). i grew up on pirating the original manga online in the early 2010's, plus the 07 anime was a huge part of my childhood. i love the new adaptation of fruits basket - it does akito much more justice
2. mystic messenger (game/visual novel). my friend got me into mm in high school, and i didn't like it at first - but omg. i adore the deeper story and playing it as an adult is a lot more fun. 707's route broke me, so i've been taking a break </3
3. amnesia (visual novel; the anime is sosososo bad but it's a guilty pleasure). i discovered amnesia in middle school and - it's not the best, lets be real. but that doesn't take away how much i love the characters outfits and the story changes are very interesting.
i have more, but those are my top three!
