Suggestion: forums should be sorted by Recent rather than Top

I've noticed the forums are really inactive, and have a strong feeling that might be because "Top Topics" are the default and seem to sort posts exclusively by how many posts a thread has rather than how new or active it is. I feel like this may be a deterrent for using the forums as some of these threads have been stale for an extremely long time, giving the forums the appearance of being dead. In this forum, for example, there are multiple threads on the front page of Top that have been inactive for over 4 months.

Also, separate but related, perhaps we should also have an option to sort by "Active Threads" that show which threads have most recently been interacted with? Just a thought.
