The first I wrote in 2018 and was my first real time writing something and putting it out there in the world. Whilst its far from where I am today, I'm not ashamed to show where I started from.

Ellie, an orphaned “mule bred” (cross breed) is at the bottom of society because of her mixed blood, and is unable to bear children. She lives a miserable life of poverty, but finds a way to blend in with the pure-bred population. Facing the risk of punishment by skinning, she attempts to live a normal life with her new disguise. However, she has not planned for a cruel twist of fate.
Esmeralda has been on the run since she was a pup, now trying to put her past behind her. Her hand is forced into one last job and the mystery's of her past start to unravel themselves.
Lydus, a disgraced Lupus is coming to terms with his pending execution. A strange figure appears and presents an option and a chance to live: A suicide mission into the Plagued lands to recover an artifact that holds the hope for all surviving Canids in Arillion.
