For fashion:
Turtleneck sweaters that were shredded at the bottom, wearing jeans under a dress, low-rise sweat pants, and jeans with the waistband cut out/cut to make fake thong straps.Β
For hair/makeup:
Really short bangs, overly stenciled facial hair, and when face foundation made your eyebrows almost invisible.Β

Wearing skirts/dresses over your jeans... it was a short lived phase but mindbogglingly stupid even at the time.
