Hello all, 

Recently a good friend of mine told me about a dog they had called a "golden retriever" which got me thinking about dog breeds. Are there more than one? I always thought there were only dogs. Very interesting.

I think there is only one dog breed (the chinese crested) so I'm not sure what your friend was thinking.
Seriously, what is a golden retriever? Does it retrieve gold? Maybe I need one, LOL!
