I really recommend you to watch Sailor Moon. I watched it multiple times and its so good. I recommend the 1992 version, but you can watch the Crystal version if you want (2014 remake, everything is almost same with the manga) Classic version is 200 episodes and 3 movies. While Crystal is more shorter. If you want to get in the fandom fast, you should watch Crystal version but if you want to go slowly, you should watch the Classic version. So if you are going to watch Crystal version, here is the series in order;
Sailor Moon Crystal
Sailor Moon Crystal Eternal 1,2
Sailor Moon Crystal Cosmos 1,2

magical girl shows are pretty sapphic coded. I highly recommend pretty cure, namely futari wa! it has lots of action, great character development and one of the main characters is crushed on by girls >:3
