1. tuxedo sam! very underrated character, so merch for him is so limited and it hurts ;-; i saw him for the first time on a backpack patterned with him on it in sanrio and i fell in love. i still use this backpack in college. he and i also have the same birthday so it ramps up my love and affection for him!!! my layout is tuxedo sam themed. he just makes me so happy

2. cinnamoroll - my very close second favorite, and since cinnamoroll has a lot of merch i wear frequently a lot of ppl just associate him w me at this point too LOL. i think we have a very similar :3 face which is why i began to rlly like him!

3. hello kitty - just a childhood favorite, the one that got me into sanrio and the franchise... my best memories are associated with hello kitty and my family always giving me hello kitty stationary bc i loved her so much.

4. kuromi - when i was in my peak "not like the other girls" phase of wearing black and hating on pink, my still girly side was trying so hard to justify my sanrio love i looked to other characters to obsess over- and that just happened to be kuromi for a long period of time!! there was a sanrio forum website where i would watch ppl's amvs of her and that's how i also found out about her own anime that had a WEIRD ass plot where she fell in love with a human and it was reciprocated?? FTW
