it was called something like "time travel is not what you think it's like" and it was from r/nosleep. and the author was u/flard. it has to be one of the best stories i've ever read.

lost episode creepypastas are pretty bad but i love em. the current state of video game creepypastas has become very intriguing, alot of high effort stuff has come out of it like petscop and the mario 64 iceberg stuff, analog horror's pretty fun too

pokemon dead channel was always one of my favorites when i was younger. rereading it isnt anything groundbreaking and it suffers from excessive gore syndrome, but nostalgia is powerful lol

tbh probably the one where the old woman would watch the guy from her house and one day she got sent to a home (or died i dont exactly recall what happened to her). the guy goes to take a shower and she breaks into the house and tries to attack him w/ a box cutter! i dont remember its name and thats all i remember, but its very spooky!!

I remember hearing one about a Russian sleep experiment? it was soooooo creepy, basically some Russians locked some people in a room with no windows and put a gas into the air that made them stay awake and they satrted acting strange, screaming, hallucinating, other weird stuff. It really scared 9 year old me but it's funny now

i will personally always hold a soft spot in my heart for the original smile dog story. its one of few from the time that holds up as genuine, self-contained horror fiction

Here's a list of the ones that I think are good (and some of them I would even say are great): Ted the Caver, NoEnd House, Pale Luna. When God Blinks, The Pancake Family, Autopilot, I am a grown, logical man, crying tears of horror right now. Or the story of her holding an orange., My wife has been peeking at me from around corners and behind furniture. It's gone from weird to terrifying, If you’re armed and at the Glenmont metro, please shoot me, I'm a Search and Rescue Officer for the US Forest Service, I have some stories to tell, My dead girlfriend keeps messaging me on Facebook. I’ve got the screenshots. I don’t know what to do., I saw something on the evening news that I can't explain.

Candle Cove has to be one of my favorites. It's short and sweet and doesn't overstay its welcome or try to overexplain things. I'm also a big fan of the author's other work like Local 58. As for creepypastas that have really stuck with me, If You're Armed And At The Glenmont Metro, Please Shoot Me is definitely quite high up there.
Squidward's Suicide is my current favorite in terms of so bad it's almost good creepypastas. I know a decent amount about how cartoons are made and I know some people who are going into the animation industry which just makes the whole story very funny. That one line where the author points out that the only woman in the room threw up and ran out of the room made me cackle the first time I read it due to how out-of-pocket it was. The only vaguely disturbing thing about it is the weird sexism. -2/10. Makes me laugh every time I read it.
