mirrors

im kinda scared of mirrors, when i was little i remember having a whole wall of a giant mirror,at first it didint bother me of course i was almost a baby, but i do remember starting to be scared of the bathroom mirror, and for me is kinda funny, like its just glass ,i do remember seeing myself and being so scared of myself, for some reason, when i look into a mirror for more that 5 minutes its feels like another person

Many people believe they are portals, and in my experience i just cover them up at night .
Sorry for the mess i writed, english is not my first language but i find the topic very interesting

Yeah they've freaked me out since I was a little kid. It doesn't help that there are horror movies with freaky stuff involving mirrors. Personally it freaks me out to the point where I don't even think I'd want to hear any true stories about it.
I also kind of look at it like a portrayal of a multi dimensional reality. Like if you place mirrors in front of each other you get infinite reflections. That I find to be interesting.

Although I have had the weird feeling of looking into a mirror and feeling like I don't know the reflection staring back at me. Always just thought of it as like my own lack of self approval. I've never thought of mirrors this way before. I've seen movies and tv portraying the darker side of mirrors being a portal to another dimension but never really gave it much thought. But after reading this I am going to be looking at mirrors a bit differently.

Dw!! I've done this. It's not scary. It's just your eyes defocusing on your face, basically. It's the same as if you zone out too hard and things seem to go black until you refocus your eyes.
Yes, it makes your face look a bit freaky, but it's nothing nefarious! ^u^

I covered all the mirrors in my house because of me, not really the mirror, but I do think there's something about them being a portal

Of course, I know they're just a reflective surface, but I can't help but feel as though they're something more deep-down

Honestly, I was also scared of mirrors for a hot second. Funny story; because this little girl when I was in grade school. Literally tricked me into thinking the devil was inside all mirrors. And she told me that If I ever want to get rid of him. Just look in the mirror at night and turn my head 3 times to the left and back to the mirror and he would should up. And I was suppose to kick the air?? Now that I think about it. I was scared for no reason. Because that girl ended up being really rude in the future. Lol

When I was younger I read a few of scary mirror-related myths in a book and they’re kinda ingrained into my brain lol

Now I’m just scared of mirrors or anny reflective surface in general and try to avoid them as much as possible

I remember being in Yoho mall in Hong Kong and going to the bathroom. My experience is kinda similar to a artwork that became quite infamous on twitter for being an artwork that "jumpscared people". Anywas, it was trippy because there was a woman at as sink looking down on it or something washing her hands. But her reflection showed her staring at me. I'm not sure if it was paranormal or not but the angle and where the woman actually had her sight doesn't seem to align...

I'm not sure if it's actually paranormal, but it was definetly spooky because it didn't seem right.
