Looking at the examples of family members and how it looked like from my pov to see them going through their middle ages I can’t quite pin point the time where they had a mid life crisis, I was wondering if they even had one at all.. or are they just better at hiding it

the fact that time is slipping away probably freaks people out all the time in a myriad of forms, not just the stereotypical midlife crisis. but according to the stereotype a lot of people have it, i guess it moreso is a stereotype about men buying stupid shit or getting into some sad macho/youthful thing bashfully when they turn 50ish
