I can´t decide between Cheers and TBP, they were the first albums I listened to a few years ago so I have a lot of love for them, plus the songs are so emotional and the stories on the albums are just perfect.

I don't have a non-favorite since in my opinion all albums are a work of art, but if I had to choose one out of obligation it might be Bullets, I love the album but there are times I feel like it doesn't fill me up.

Three Cheers, it's fucking phenomenal. While a lot of it is sentimental, it is not a controversial take to say it's got some of the best vocals, imo the MOST RAW Toro riffs period, and some pretty creative lyrics, especially compared to some of the later albums which focused more on the concept album part rather than the lyrical complexity. That btw is the only real downside to the album, there is no true, in-depth story, it is only a concept album by literal definition, they thought of a concept and made songs around it.

Also it's got I'm not okay (I promise) and that song is audible cipralex, it gives me fucking life dude.

7. Least favorite MCR album? Why?

I haven't listened to danger days yet, but I guess it'll have to be bullets, simply as a collective experience. Headfirst for halos and early sunsets over monroeville are actually genius, not to mention proof the emo gatekeepers should piss off, the latter would definitely be something considered normal for a midwest emo band afterall.

It's not even close to bad, by the way, that's how good they are. I think that's a given considering MCR is surprisingly deeper compared to others making a billion breakup songs and then having a band member come out as a wife beater, yknow? I won't be the one to start a convo around that though.

Why? god this is hard... i think the black parade was their most successful album in that i think it was the pinnacle of what they wanted to do with the band. to take so many different influences and make it into something that was able to be commercially successful. i probably listen to bullets the most tho. its just such a perfect album for when ur struggling in ur early 20s lol.

Why? man.. i have to say danger days. i do love that album, i do. i just think.. in the way that the band's pinnacle was tbp i think something got lost in danger days with the pressure of having to make a follow up to tbp, there was some kind of.. vision that was lost. but then again the things i love about that album are where i can hear gerard being frustrated with the pressures of fame. man... i do love danger days!! its just their only album with skips. but also i reaaally dont like conventional weapons. like ofc. its incomplete and it really does sound flat to me. like it lacks the sonic depth of their other albums. boy division and tomorrows money rule tho.
