Ghost story #1 - When I was 6 (more to come maybe?)

I for whatever reason looked out my window and saw this cloaked figure just standing outside my window. My friends and I had been reading this book on and off at our school that had to do with monsters, ghosts and UFO's. So when I said hey guys...there's a ghost out the window, they didn't believe me, I begged, no seriously look out the window...im not joking. One replies "there's no such things as ghosts". I'm like please look, both were uninterested but I got the non believer to come have a look and his response was "holy shit they are real", so I was glad it wasn't just me who was seeing it. It was a cloaked figure with its arms crossed into each other (like how you can do it with a jumper).

So I was pretty freaked out, it looked exactly like the ones I'd seen in the book, so I laid down and went to sleep (somehow). Next morning my friends somehow wake up before me and get me up to play some Street Fighter 2 on my PC, we talked about what we saw the night before and how weird it was. My friends proceeded to tell me it had came into the room and pointed at my friend up on the top bunk, I was asleep so I can't confirm if its legit or not but I asked what did he do my friend claimed he stuck his finger up at him and we laughed and that was it basically. But another detail I'm not super sure on was, either that year, year after or few years after it all happened the friend who got pointed out had an uncle (or another type of family member) kill himself. Years later I found the book I use to read at school online and went through it, it showed ghosts sometimes come to give a message, rarely speak and only point and such in most cases.

So that's my little story, I may post more as I've gotten a few short and simple ones but yeah. Here is the book I use to read at school (I got a reissue so the cover is different 2nd photo shown).
