What do you think of the book?
I love the blend of fictional adventures with the real life conflicts that occured during the time of the Thirty Years' War.
The adventures Simplicius has, as well as his development, is fun to follow and it comes with lots of real life lessons mixed in.
Another reason I enjoyed the book was because of how it shows mannerisms and life in the late 17th century.
