Highly recommend checking out Wacko for some tight Long Beach punk shit.
And this is more post-punk but still high energy, listen to Rendez Vous from France. Guys are a riot.

some new shit ive been listening to is 3weekoldroses and One Step Closer, for you melodic hardcore fans. Magnitude is some pretty awesome straight edge with a 90's youth crew revival vibe. MH Chaos for you beatdown lovers.

best hardcore bands have to be g.l.o.s.s, homewrecker and the bedwetters, petrol girls, pink suits, and leonardo divorcio. (leonardo divorcio is hella underrated).
