is that the internet has functionally flattened time. Right now, there is no rigid "look" that defines this era, like the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. You can explore fashion from literally any point in time, and find a niche with like-minded people pretty easily. No other time in history was anything remotely like this.
And you get to be alive for it...and that's fucking awesome.
