my favorite band of all time is frightened rabbit! they were an indie rock/indie folk band from scotland. they disbanded in 2018 after their lead singer, scott hutchison, tragically passed away. their music has got me through some really tough times. their songs cover mental health, addiction, and rocky relationships. scott hutchison also had a solo career, going by the name "owl john" for his solo project, and he also had another side project with his brother, grant hutchison (mastersystem). i like his main band and his side projects. i think his lyrics are incredible, poetic and moving. and you can definitely hear the emotion in his voice when he sings.

my all time favorite song by them is i wish i was sober. here's a link:

favorite song by scott's solo project, owl john, is probably stupid boy. link:

favorite song by scott's side project, mastersystem, is bird is bored of flying. link:

Gosh, I love so many artists and I appreciate them all for their hard work and dedication that they put into their songs and lyrics. Music has honestly saved my life and some of the artists listed are the reason why.

Some of my favorites are Breaking Benjamin, Peyton Parrish, Christina Grimmie, Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Akon, Aqua, Selena Gomez, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Paramore, Flyleaf, Cimorelli, and many more mainstream pop/rock late 90s-2020s to be quite honest. I also love 80s pop (especially the songs played on GTA Vice City playlist lol. All of those songs absolutely slap and they are definitely something to jam out to (ex: Africa - Toto).

The artists I have seen live is Justin Bieber (2010), Breaking Benjmain, Bush, & Alice in Chains (2022).

The pinacle of music, the backbone of all existence, is 'A Tábua de Esmeralda' by Jorge Ben Jor.

The guy is a right-hand magician, nobody! and i mean NOBODY plays guitar like him, plus, it's a samba-rock/mpb concept album about alchemy released in the mid 70s with very casual and deceiving lyrics (e.g., "O Homem da Gravata Florida" is a song about a man with a very colourful tie that's very popular among his peers, when translating the lyrics to English, they may sound ordinary, but Jorge is talking about Nicolas Flamel).

i was recently in a pretty intense boa phase and i still kind of am, and when i say kind of, i mean i am still pretty obsessed. Im not gonna lie when i say that i was introduced to them around the time they started to reblow up kind of online. Because 'duvet' was getting popular it inevitably came up in my spotify recs. However this was like a while ago, idk i guess i kind of just got into their twilight album more, recently. Anyways long story short the other songs on this album other than duvet and twilight are seriously underappreciated. Jasmine Rodgers' voice is seriously so insane and f*ckin ethereal. Their music is so incredibly beautiful and i plan on learning some of their songs on drums AND on acoustic guitar. Speaking of acoustic, the acoustic version of Duvet is superior for sure. Good songs for being on za as well ;3. My fave songs on Twilight are vv

drinking

fool

little miss

one day

elephant

For jasmine

the whole album is truly such a masterpiece

I think my all time favorite music is the "I Cant Handle Change" EP by Roar, to me its by far one of the most impactful tracks ive listened to, literally everytime i listen to it im always so moved and absorbed into it. Its kinda funny to me that the genre of the music they make is so far from what I normally like and listen to, in someway its kinda refreshing :3

The first ever song I listened from the EP was "Christmas Kids", a song about the abuse that Ronnie Spector experienced when she was with Phil Spector. this song single handedly altered the chemistry in my brain, from how often i played it every now and then- i can sing this song with my eyes closed. I think the first time i heard it was back in  2016, and until now i never got sick of listening to it.

heres the link if u wanna listen to the I Cant Handle Change EP !! pls do let me know what u guys think of it, im always interested to know how people feel about the things i like- i appreciate hearing about em from a different perspective <3
