My favorite band is Fugazi !! anybody who's interested in punk rock, post-hardcore, or even emo should check them out. they were the first to do post-hardcore and inspired so so many bands, even some earlier emo bands like SDRE. They're probably the most interesting sounding punk band you'll ever find and their ethics were TIGHT. Some of their work even comes close to being avant-garde. Check them out please !!!

i've been listening to the song weathergirl by FLAVOR FOLEY on repeat lately! it's actually the song i got my current pfp from :3
i'm a new-ish listener to FLAVOR FOLEY, but this is by far my favorite song of theirs. i would seriously recommend it; not only is the song beautiful, but the artistic presentation of the music video really adds to it!!
the lyrics have to be my favorite part of the entire song. i never get sick of them no matter how many times i hear them, and they always leave me with something to think about and a somber feeling in my chest... but like in a good way! lol

I have a bunch of favourite songs and they change every two seconds, but here's a few I like;
★ HUHHAHHEI - Käärijä
One of my favourite songs on his People's Champion album alongside Takavoltti and just my favourite song by him. I've gone to all his London concerts, and Huhhahhei ALWAYS hits when he plays it. Not to mention that the loud ass "SÄÄ JA MÄÄ TÄNÄÄN!!!! (OKEI, OKEI, OKEI, OKEI)!!!" before the chorus goes so hard.
★ UNEXPLAINABLE - Nemo
Considering that this song is about Nemo's experience of being non-binary and how they can't express how they feel about their body, this did hit close to home. It sucks that some people don't understand the song and sent Nemo hate and called them derogatory names. However, it goes to show that we need more art like this to bring awareness to both people's struggles with their identities and the hate that comes with not conforming to what society expects from you. Not only that but I love the "screaming" in the song, it just itches my brain in a way I can't explain... you could say it's unexpla-💥
★ REVI MINUT AUKI - Turmion Kätilöt
I dunno what they be giving Finnish metal bands to be cooking like this BUT THEY NEED TO KEEP DOING IT. My Finnish playlist on Spotify finished and before I could switch to a different one, this came up and I gave it a try and oh my god I listened to it about 30 times after that. The vocals, the instrumental, it's all so GOOOOOD!!! I NEED IT INJECTED INTO MY VEINS!!!!! This song also made me realise that alongside symphonic metal, industrial metal is one of my favourite subgenres of metal!

I really love the band King Gizzard and the Lizard wizard. I've only been listening to them as of recent, but I find them fascinating because they're one of those bands that changes their sound every album. I love their song 'Work this Time," it has a lofi-type sound that they dont use on any other songs.

if i had to say what my favorite favorite song is, i'm torn between saying KANA-BOON's Naimononedari Revenge the First Take, natori's Cult., and Home Made Kazoku's Thank You!! (Reborn)
i think i can only answer this question if i could have 3 answers, those being:
1. natori - Cult.
2. Home Made Kazoku - Thank You!! (Reborn)
3. Naimononedari Revenge the First Take
i just noticed that all 3 songs that i listed were japanese songs, which proooooobably means that i have to listen to more english songs lmao
