Hey, I work in independent music, and have some ideas if you're interested in hearing them! 

I posted about this in the DIY Tour Postings group on FB.  Hope you don't end up w/ Too Many first submissions.  IDK if you were just trying to start w/ a few or what, but I just got excited as hecc and wanted to spread the word to absolutely everyone!!

if a music platform or spot for hosting/posting music was in the works, we'd definitely be down to post some stuff exclusively here and direct folks here from elsewhere, etc....

Please dont take this down the same road as the old myspace with the music.

its hard to imagine anyone would think of taking this site in the same direction with music LOL since that was basically the final nail in the coffin of the old one

I am a singer songwriter 

I'm not in a band, but having band pages for profile and enabling the music to be on the page will make it even more like Myspace was in the mid to late 2000s. I'm all for it!

I was a huge fan of myspace back in the day mainly because it was so musician friendly and allowed me to reach out to new audiences. I think I had 10,000 friends before Facebook came along.

This is exciting.

I too am curious if this is still going to be a thing. I got a majority of my fanbase from myspace back in the day and the nostalgia here is super real. I would love to have my music here and relive those days. It was super cool to be a music profile that also felt more.. personal. (sure you have IG and twitter now but thats not the sameee mannnn)
