the sims 2 i spent hourzzzz downloading custom content, mods, and watching sims videos on youtube as a kid. 

Great list! I grew up playing PS1/2 games even though most people my age grew up with PS3 games lol so I have a lot of nostalgia for 90s/2000s games. My childhood faves are:

Left 4 dead

tony hawks underground

Some of my favorites i can remember have got to be Devil May cry, Resident evil 4, Shadow of the colossus, Majoras mask , Little big planet. I'll probably remember some later thats all i could think of off the top of my head.

Burnout 3 was one me and my brother grew up playing

wasn't allowed to play many games at the time besides flash games (the reason would be far too complicated to explain in one post) but I really loved the sims 2. In my opinion it has the best game play in the whole sims franchise. The only bad part about the game is that when you leave your own lot the time doesn't actual move forward. 

Honestly, a title that still holds a place deep in my heart is Luigis Mansion (gamecube).  The old times being young asf going to this 'holiday club' (basically a youth club but only went on during summer break) and playing blindly through it with a bunch of other friends at the time was so fun. We would spend hours just trying to progress with no help, unfortunately with the gamecube we were playing on, it didn't have a memory card so every new day it would be a fresh play through and as sometimes frustrating it was... The challenge just to beat the game between all of us before the daily reset were some of the greatest times I ever had there. I still sometimes go back and play/watch it and a massive wave of nostalgia just hits.

does anyone remember Free Realms? I would cry so hard if the reboot was ever launched

 I rlly do love d.j hero, all of the monster high website games as well with the barbie ones, mario and sonic @ the olympic games, cooking mama, animal crossing and just dance were big parts of my childhood :))

i was a kid, so i didnt played much but

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3. I loved the freak out of that game. I'd turn the gravity off, turn the cheats on, and soar through the air like a bird, do 20 tricks in the air, then grind a telephone wire.  

Omggg I used to play this game back when i was little it so great it was purple place every time my mom would work I used to go on her computer and play purple place every time i would try to search fro it tho and I would try to look and see if she would come back it was amazing such a childhood

i miss my PS2

my favs were soul calibur, tekken, KOF 2006, samurai warriors, DBZ budokai 3, yu-gi-oh: the duelist of the roses, and the simpsons hit and run.

on PC i loved carmen sandiego, cluefinders, the 3d pac-man games, sonic adventure, and nicktoons racing. there was this 50 demo educational game disc my dad brought one time, i don’t remember most of them but for some reason a demo of jazz jackrabbit 2 was on it, i loved it and would play it all the time but i’d always get stuck on the 2nd level. 

soul calibur remains my favorite to this day. i just wish project soul could go back to what made the older games so great.
