one feature i would like to suggest is multiple profiles

it would work like this

Account
>public profile
 >profile 1 (maybe have a seperate profile for followers on other social media
 >profile 2 (perhaps a professional profile shown to coworkers
 >profile 3 (friends and family irl only)

people add you on your public profile, and you can show certain profiles to certain contacts. like coworkers and family/friends profile. I would go over to the contact and select the profile they are allowed to view.

basically i would love to see a hubzilla like multiple profile feature within myspace levels of customization

Something Like How You Can Have A FB Account & Then FB Dating Profile . Not A Bad Suggestion , Sounds Like It Has A Valid Purpose & Would Be First Of A Kind To Allow Individuals To Have A Public Profile , A Personal Profile , A Business Profile & If They Wanted To Be Really Fancy , Even A Dating Profile . Maybe In The Future .. Better Do It Before Meta Does . Lol Kidding .
