Introductions

Hi there, just getting the group started. Tell us a bit about yourself and how you became interested in Luciferianism. What types of books have you read? What kind of magic or approaches do you prefer?

Hey, I probably ought to have introduced myself to get the ball rolling. When I started this group and the Chaos Magic one, spacehey groups were totally dead, and maybe we're still in a limbo where ppl are waiting for everyone else to start posting before they pile in, so it might well be that there is activity here in spurts for a while. I don't think being an atheist precludes magical practice exactly, I assumed all the LaVeyan Satanists who practice magic aren't that different to everyone else, they just don't believe the result has any external effect. I fluctuate between atheism and pantheism, possibly not that different from LaVey in that sense. I was a Christian for 13 years and started talk to Wiccans and Luciferians on myspace when I started reading about Gnosticism, so got more interested in Gnostic Luciferianism from a RHP perspective, which is basically a mish mash of chaos magic, thelema, freemasonry and satanism. I have hung out in a lot of Luciferian forums over the years, and I started up the first Luciferian group on G+ when it existed and thought I'd do the same here, for a place for like minded ppl to chat and get to know each other. Whilst philosophically I don't fully dig Satanism, I find I get on better with Satanists and Chaos Magicians than Luciferians in on line communities, probably because most ppl on Luciferian forums aren't Luciferian, it's more like an idea of what they would like to be and they feel better about not applying it to their real lives through on line interaction.

Yo! I'm a bit of a baby Luciferian so you'll have to forgive my lack of knowledge in certain areas. I've been a practicing witch since 2014-ish, and I've felt a connection with demons for far longer, though given my Catholic background, I'm sure you can imagine my apprehension at the thought of working with them. I only really started my journey down the left-hand path last October, and I'm still in the midst of fervent research and meditation to parce out my exact beliefs and practices.

I would probably be categorized as a theistic Luciferian, though, rather than seeing Lucifer as a deity who demands worship, I see him as a guide and teacher, and it's the same with every demon I work with in my practice.
I can see that this group appears to be either dead or dormant, but it's nice to find other Luciferians here!

Hey! I am a bit new to Luciferianism. I discovered it about 4-5 months ago and would love to learn more about it! I've been trying to search for a religion that suits me, and so I came across working with Lucifer. I've had a very positive experience with him so far. I haven't had the chance to find any books, but I'm open to recommendations!
I hope to learn more and grow within this community :)

I've recently worked on dark arts, ceremonial magic, as well as spirituality, protection and healing.
