So the other day I was pooping and reading wikipedia's article about the dude that tried to shoot FDR back when he was still President-elect. Article gives the story, adds the theory that the guy was really trying to assassinate the Mayor of Chicago because he was an Italian presumably with mafia ties. Most of the quotes attributed to the assassin were anti-state and anti-capitalist in tone.
Is there a reason why wikipedia would omit the anarchist motive in the assassination attempt?
