Forum: Religion and Philosophy

I'd really love to get in touch with other pagans.

I wasn't able to be out as a pagan on facebook considering that most of my family is heavily christian. I'd really love to make pagan friends here and be open about my spirituality.

Baby witch here! Im fairly new to paganism and still learning before deciding what exactly I follow. However Iv always been very open minded and I believe a mixture of things. I have done bits and pieces of witchcraft for a few years but around November 2020 I started kind of diving into it.

I definitely feel your pain on the not being able to be fully open on facebook, my family are HEAVY Christians to the point it became a mild sour point between my mother and I on Christmas eve.

But I'd love to get in touch with any other fellow pagans! I evolve some mild witchy work with my worship, so I'd love to vibe with anyone on that as well!!

I’ve been researching Wicca and paganism since I was about 15 (I’m 21 now) and I still haven’t incorporated it into my daily life. Any suggestions on specific paths to look into or books to read (for reference, I’ve read a lot of the basic ones you can find on the top ten introductory lists). I connect a lot with earth energy and kitchen witchcraft and I would love to learn more! I’m also very queer and would love to incorporate that as well XD just putting this out there in case anyone comes across this!

I’m a universalist Asatru follower which means no judgement on my part. There are some that are like that but I don’t prescribe to that thinking

I'm Heathen. But also consider some Celtic (insular and continental) lore to be relevant to my practice, particularly stuff about water. But really, it's mostly about ancestors and land spirits.

Hello all,

I would definitely fall under the category of pagan.

I am a Kemetic Polytheist (with Norse leanings) and I have interest in both British Traditional Withcraft and Chaos Magick.

I'm also interested in most non-monotheist religions and many other occult matters.

I'm also down to chat about any of these topics.

Hello!

I understand your struggle completely! I'm not open about it on my facebook either.
I'm new to studying witchcraft but I'm interested in making new friends and learning more from others. I only have one friend locally and she helps with some things, but there's still quite a bit that we don't see eye to eye on.

Feel free to send an add or strike up a conversation.

I grew up in a catholic home with my father, and my mother practiced Buddhism. I discovered Paganism/Wicca in middle school and became super fascinated with it. Now a-days I have so many minor beliefs from so many different religions/occult views that I don't know if I can call myself a strict pagan, but I do practice magick in the way that is comfortable and works for me :)

I'm a practicing Heathen. We have a small local kindred and meet to honor the gods once a month ( different god each time).  We have a Hof and secluded land to use for our events, and our members are very active learning and practicing Norse lore. We have no space for the racist/bigot type asatruar in our group.

I am pagan.

I was raised to be southern Baptist, but never really liked the idea of god and the devil and all of that. Im from the gulf coast of Mississippi so anything that wasn't christian was considered evil. It was really hard growing up, I was that emo/scene girl in the class but I clicked up with some other likeminded kids.
I really don't have a deity. I have my altar that has rocks, twigs, pinecones and lots of animal figures. I have a lot of wolves and owls on there. :D
