here!! (this is a kinda roleplay account thing just bc it's fun but i the actual human running it am autistic) (i feel like thats kinda evident considering i am an. in character account for a side character from a moderately popular show from the 80s)

Hi. My name is Ginsch and I got my diagnosis at the age of 41 that was in 2020. I read a lot about autism and that made me curious on how other autists are? Is it true, that communication between autists can be as easy as between only neurotypical people? 
Unfortunatly 2020 was not the best year for meeting people because of obvious reasons. So I am still curious :)
What the diagnoses did for me? It helps me to figure out, what's important for me. In spite of all the childishness, drawing is. And this is what I do now...
Anyone with similar experiences?

i'm autistic! diagnosed later in life, when i turned 17 or around that time. <3 i have a rly good support system though, and im in the special education course at my school. my comfort items are my stuffed animals and i'm trying to be more social.

I got diagnosed at the age of 13. Sadly my therapist was trash and just went down a checklist of pills typically given to autistic kids. Of course the majority of them treated ADHD symptoms which I didn't have so I ended up being zombie like on the pills.

However a little later it was discovered I have a learning disability. That's probably about it about me. Kinda sucks most people these days invalid having a learning or intelligent disability though, I hope no one here does that. 

I know the other post is a year old but I took one look at the big Autism group here and agree. I instantly thought "Yeah these people are going to shun me"

I do not know if I am autistic but think I am?
