I love quake, and a few days ago a new update called "quake enhanced" has been officialy realeased. I will replay it.

By no means the best DOS game by any objective measure, but my favorite is Sierra's Hoyle Card Games, specifically Volume 1 from 1989. I don't even wanna think about how many hours I spent playing cribbage against the bulldog npc as a kid! Playing card games with King Graham and Roger Wilco was a special kind of silly, I love it.
...To this day, I'm still not 100% sure how cribbage even works.

I forgot about warcraft, I really played lots of hours in warcraft 2 on lan games.

Both Warcraft 1 & 2 have been revamped unofficially in the form of War1gus and Wargus (https://github.com/Wargus) which are mods for the games using a different engine and more options. I used to play a lot of Warcraft. I think I actually like 1 more than 2.
