Bob’s Irish Snowy Potatoes

1 – 5 pound bag of potatoes
16 ounces of sour cream
16 ounces cream cheese
milk
butter
shredded cheddar cheese
cubed ham
salt & pepper to taste
chives (optional) add to potatoes or to the cheese and ham topping

prepare mashed potatoes using milk and butter to right consistency, add sour cream and cream cheese and continue mashing till smooth and both are thoroughly mixed in, salt and pepper to taste. Top with cheese and ham, heat in a 350° oven until cheese is melted and slightly browned.
