if you've got the money - or other means - any books put out by No Starch Press. they've got dozens and dozens of excellent books for both white and black hat stuff. seriously. go check it.

i think for someone who is wanting to break into cybers, bear in mind that you pretty much have two paths to follow: you either go the management route which can get you paid pretty well - or you can find your niche and sort of specialize in that one skill. being a generalist is good starting out and can help ya get your foot in the door, but once you've done that - learn what you like. is it reverse engineering malware? is it OSINT? is it digital forensics? find what makes tickles your brain and follow it!

this link is for folk who want to take active measures to protect their online privacy.

this is the fifth edition out of a book called Extreme Privacy by Michael Bazzell - an author who worked on the FBI’s Cyber Crimes Task Force as an investigator. it's a big chunk of tasks and tips, but there's some genuinely good stuff for people who want to make less noise online. stay safe friends.
