Ps your story: I got into horror one day and my mom was like "You should watch the X-Files!" and so we did, and that was like 2 years ago. And of course I loved it cuz I love all things paranormal and whatnot. And still and have an OC for it too (cuz I have an OC for all my significant fandoms). Ya thats it

There’s already enough of my info on the dark web without filling
out all that.

Anyway, I watched
the show from episode one, Friday, September 10th,
1993. I was immediately hooked. I even briefly considered a career
in the FBI until I found out they had an uncorrected vision standard
for new recruits. Oh well.

There wasn’t much
in the way of marketing back then save for just general alien stuff
unrelated to the show. I picked up a copy of ‘The Gulf Breeze
Sightings,’ and I seem to remember building my own rudimentary
alien embryo prop using a Magic Grow figure.

Tyco’s ‘The
Incredible Crash Dummies’ action figures filled in for Mulder and
Scully, mainly because the test car was the closest thing you could
find on the toy shelves to a Lariat government rental. And a Nerf
Warthog pistol became my government issued sidearm.

Who remembers the
‘Alien Autopsy’ special that aired on Fox in 1995? lol
