I'm pretty basic and would go with Picard. I am though a big fan of Anson Mount as Pike and am really interested in the Strange New Worlds spin-off.

Janeway! I love all the captains but Janeway's sheer badassery is second to none imo. She pretty much epitomizes strong, fearless leadership to me

I'm torn between Picard and Sisko...
I guess picard since he's the most likeable, but overall Sisko has the most depth which I like. idk I can't explain it well lol

There aren't any captains I DISlike, but Sisko is head and shoulders my favorite. He's an awesome dad, he has a cool beard, and he's juggling two full-time jobs as a Starfleet captain AND as an alien messiah. Man's got it all.

definitely sisko - i like that he doesn't take anyone's crap while simultaneously not being a total tightass with his crew. though janeway was my favourite for a while and i had a huge crush on her

I liked Sisko, mainly for the journey he had. A man who tragically lost his wife taking a position that no one wanted. And a person who we were introduced to as a Commander to when he finally did get promoted to Captain, we celebrated with him. He has compassion and loyalty towards his crew even when a couple of them did betray him, Shows he has the strength to make the very tough decisions and will take no shit when pushed. I mean how many other Captains punched a Q? LOL

"That's why you came to me, isn't it captain? Because you knew I could do those things that you weren't capable of doing. Well, it worked. And you'll get what you wanted: a war between the Romulans and the Dominion. And if your conscience is bothering you, you should soothe it with the knowledge that you may have just saved the entire Alpha Quadrant, and all it cost was the life of one Romulan senator, one criminal... and the self-respect of one Starfleet officer. I don't know about you, but I'd call that a bargain."
At 0800 hours, station time, the Romulan Empire formally declared war against the Dominion. They've already struck fifteen bases along the Cardassian border.
So, this is a huge victory for the good guys! This may even be the turning point of the entire war! There's even a "Welcome to the Fight" party tonight in the wardroom!
So, I lied. I cheated. I bribed men to cover up the crimes of other men. I am an accessory to murder. But most damning of all? I think I can live with it. And if I had to do it all over again, I would.
Garak was right about one thing: a guilty conscience is a small price to pay for the safety of the Alpha quadrant.
So I will learn to live with it.
Because I can live with it...
I can live with it.
